Hey there! Every Tuesday Aimee at Artsyville does List It Tuesday and today I decided to play along since I actually had made a list today. So...here are my lists:
This is my weekly to-do list, but I added to it today...all of the bottom part plus a few on top.
This is some stuff I want to look up online that I thought of today and wanted to write it down so I don't forget.
Now, onto the Sweet Potato Fries.... they came out very good! YUMMY. I needed a change from regular baked sweet potatoes so I decided to try this!
Sweet Potato Fries
1) Wash your sweet potato and cut into "fries"
2) Places fries into a large zip lock bag
3) add olive oil (about 1 tbsp), cinnamon, cardamom, and red chili powder.... I didn't measure I just added what looked right.
4) Shake, shake, shake until the fries are all coated.
5) Put them on a cookie sheet
6) Bake them at 400 for about 45 min
7) Eat up!
This recipe does not result in crispy fries - the outside is crispy but the inside is soft. I even tried these with some organic ketchup and mmm mm it was good! This is a clean recipe. For a complete clean meal add 3-4 oz lean protein (chicken, turkey) and a side of green veggies (for instance tonight I am having baked cabbage which is outstanding, but spinach, zucchini, broccoli, or asparagus all work too!)
This morning I went to sick call - thats when we don't have an appointment but we want to see a doctor that day because we are suddenly sick - because my eye was killing me! So they put orange/yellow dye in it and looked at it with a special light and said no scratches. Then they told me no wearing contacts for a whole week and gave me some eye drops. So...for the rest of the week I'll be looking like this:
I am actually not too disappointed...at least its the time of year where sunglasses are not need 100% of the time.
Ok, time for me to work on my AEDM/NaNoJouMo stuff for the day. "See" you soon!
