1st Postcard! & Wire Sculpture PT 2

Saturday I got my first postcard from the Musings on Realities Postcard Swap!  I was so excited when I realized what it was!  So, here it is:

This lovely postcard came from Sunshine in Portland, OR.  Thanks, Sunshine!!

So, since my post cards are all finished, I am hoping to have them addressed and in the mail this week!

Over the weekend, I also worked on my Wire Sculpture Project... I made this:

If you cant tell (I wouldn't hold it against you lol) its an armadillo.  Truthfully, I have absolutely no idea what we are supposed to be learning with this project.  All I feel like I am learning is that I do not like making sculptures out of rebar wire!  Still left to go: flamingo, camel, kangaroo, ostrich, and a cat with its back arched like its scared.

Thanks for visiting, come back soon!

YES, it looked like an armadillo to me. I can tell you do well with wire, even though the lesson plan may be a bit mystifying. Happy CED.

Because I'm British, an armadillo would have been my last guess, but don't be offended by that, they aren't indigenous and recognisable! I thought gecko actually, and I think you're doing well with the wire, although fan, you have a lot of forms to make!

No armadillos in Australia, but it does kind of look like a platypus... can't wait to see the kangaroo... got to love the bizarre art school topics and projects... funny how many of them come in handy years down the track though... I do like your armadillo/ platypus very much even if you don't ...happy ced
